Any businesses interested in hosting a special the day of this event at the fairgrounds and the parade (parade starts at 5), please do so!  In the past this even was held on July 4 when businesses were closed, but now that it is on Saturday it's a great opportunity to pull people into your business.  If you want to get on the flyer and Facebook ads we will be promoting, Reply by June 25.

Summit Mountain Day is July 1, 2017. The second annual Summit Mountain Day  celebration will begin with a pancake breakfast at the Summit Firehouse from 8-11 am. Then join us with live music, arts and crafts, performers, farmer's market, antique cars, wagon rides and much more. Food and drinks will be available throughout the day. Tour the villages of Summit and Charlotteville as you enjoy the exhibits and events throughout the day. Admission and parking is free.

What better place to celebrate the Fourth of July than in Sharon Springs!  Join us in the Village of Sharon Springs for a huge county-wide parade with food and entertainment to follow.  The Parade begins at 10 AM on the Fourth of July.   Following the parade, a chicken and rib barbeque will follow in the front lawn of Sharon Springs Central School.  Entertainment will be from 11AM to 2 PM provided by the Ira Metzger Band.
