Parking lot off Rte 443 after junction of Rtes 443 & 30 – at Easter Egg Museum.

One of two walking tours in the Village of Schoharie.  This tour is at the north end and is heavy in 18th century architecture and the American Revolution.  Foxestown is the English version of Fuch’s Dorf, one of the seven Palatine Dorfs settled by 1713.  Mohawk & other native occupation sites, colonial trails & roads, Mann’s Tavern, Eckerson Mill, Stone Church parsonage, early churches of Fuch’s Dorf, Old Stone Fort, Swart’s Tavern, Johnson Raid of 1780, David Williams Monument, Col. Peter Vroman House & so much more!  $10 adults, $5 ages 9-17.  Tour meets at the parking lot off Rte 443 just after the junction of Rtes 443 & 30 at the north end of the Village of Schoharie.  Approx. 1.5-2hrs/ 1.5 miles.
