This new program is for folks seeking a creative outlet where they can write for fun and self-reflection and share their work with others. Moderator Don LaPlant will provide a few prompts and exercises and let writers respond in whatever way they’d like, whether it’s poetry, short fiction, a politcal rant, nature writing, a personal memory from childhood, or some new literary hybrid no one’s ever tried before. Participants can choose to share the works with the group, but our focus will be on personal enrichment rather than things like grammar, criticism, or a concern with getting published. Open to adults with any level of writing experience or training. Sponsored by The Community Library.
